Why is bulk mulch better than what I can get in a bag?
The truth is, it varies. Sometimes bagged mulch is just fine, but it’s important to carefully check the label. Many bags claim to contain 100% pine mulch, which sounds great, but that’s often not the case. Typically, bagged mulch includes the entire pine tree- bark, wood, and all. While that may seem harmless, high-quality mulch should only contain the bark. The wood beneath the bark can harbor diseases and molds, which can survive the processing and transfer to your plants, shrubs, and vegetables. Choosing mulch made exclusively from the bark helps prevent these issues and provides better protection for your garden. Also bagged mulch can be months or even a year old, leading to issues like mold, sour odors, pest contamination, and nutrient loss due to improper storage. Bulk mulch is fresher, better aerated, and less likely to have these problems.

Do you offer discounts for homeowners?
Absolutely, if you pay with check or cash you will save 3.5%. We also offer senior and veterans discounts at 10% off.
What size is your bucket or scoop?
We have 2 sizes: 1 cubic yard and ½ cubic yard at this time we do not sell our bulk items in smaller quantities. We do have 2 bagged products: our planting mix and worm castings; those are one cubic foot.
How can I come pick up my product?
Due to the size of our loaders, we can only load into an open-bed truck or trailer. Please be aware of your truck or trailer’s weight capacity on arrival to avoid exceeding the limit.
For your convenience we have added the weight of 1 cubic yard to each product description.

Can they dump the delivery in my backyard?
We aim to place your delivery in the most convenient spot for you. However, Final placement is up to the driver to ensure the truck doesn’t get stuck, especially in less than ideal yard or weather conditions. Be sure to have a second placement idea in mind.
Do I need to bring a tarp when picking up my product?
Yes, we recommend bringing a tarp to cover your load or to cover the sides if it’s not a closed in trailer or has holes on the bottom to prevent losing product. If you don’t have one, we offer tarps for sale at our location
Can I get two products on the same delivery?
If you need a delivery of two different products, it will require two deliveries and two delivery fees. Our trucks do not have the ability to separate products. The movement of the trucks during transport will cause products to mix.
How far in advance should I schedule a delivery?
To ensure we can accommodate your preferred delivery date, we kindly ask that you place your order at least one week in advance. This allows us to coordinate with our team and schedule deliveries efficiently.
We understand that sometimes you may need materials on a shorter notice, and while we will do our best to fulfill last-minute requests, we cannot guarantee same-day or next-day availability. Please call us as soon as possible, and we will work with you to find the earliest available delivery slot. You are also more than welcome to come down and pick it up with a truck or trailer during business hours.
Can I place an order over the phone?
Yes! We’re happy to take delivery orders over the phone. Please call our office to speak with one of our experts, who will help ensure you get the right materials for your project.
Can I come and see the products?
Yes of course! We do have a sample box at the front of our office for your convenience.
If you would like to go into the yard to check out the big piles please let an employee know before going on to the lot. We do have heavy machinery being operated on site and your safety is our main concern.
Can I pay and have someone else pick up my order?
Yes! You can either stop by our location or pay over the phone. Just make sure the person picking it up knows your fist and last name, the product, and the amount you purchased.
